BRAZILIAN REAL

This series deconstructs the familiar iconography of the Brazilian real, not just as currency, but as a symbol of value, national identity, and everyday interaction. Through digital abstraction and modern graphic design, the imagery found on banknotes is reimagined in a contemporary visual language. Animals, portraits, and textures are reassembled into bold compositions that speak to both cultural memory and visual disruption. Each piece is a statement on how we assign worth to objects, to symbols, and to stories printed into the paper of our lives.

Inspired by the layered beauty of Brazilian banknotes, this series explores the intersection of economy, design, and identity. By stripping and reshaping visual elements, the work challenges our understanding of permanence and perception: asking what remains when structure is undone and form becomes feeling.
